Phone : The Taiwan-based company, High Tech Computer Corp. (HTC) has recently official announced its new HTC Touch Dual, an upgraded version of an impressive HTC Touch which we’ve previously called HTC Touch Slide. |
Size : At first glance, the physical differences between the Touch and Touch Dual may not be immediately apparent. With the keypad closed, the Dual is longer than, but not as wide as, the original. It is slightly thicker, too, but at 15.8mm is still incredibly slim for a PDA-phone. This is quite a feat considering the Dual has a slide-out keypad hidden under the display. |
Camera : Like many other 3G phones, the Touch Dual comes with two cameras--a rear-mounted one for 2-megapixel snapshots and a front-facing VGA one for video calls. |
Memory : * 256MB flash The mini-USB port and microSD slot are both found on the left side of the device. The mini-USB is the only connector on the Dual, which means regular wired headsets using the 2.5mm audio connector cannot be used or will require a converter to mini-USB. |
performance : The phone is powered by a Qualcomm MSM 7200, 400 MHz processor running Windows Mobile 6. This model is targeted towards business people so the productivity suite that came with the mobile OS is more than adequate. The one-click internet sharing functionality allows you to hook up the phone to your laptop/PC via USB cable and enable the Internet Sharing function to get online. No more PC Suite to install or anything. |
Special Feature : * Discover TouchFLO™, a revolutionary touch-screen technology that allows finger-touch scrolling, panning and photo zooming |
